Of the different forms of life, of the biology, anatomy, physiology and psychology of the human being. In short, it takes knowledge from formal science and guides it using the history of human evolution and its own experience accumulated over more than 200 years of existence.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"background: white; vertical-align: baseline; margin: 0cm 0cm 22.5pt 36.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #404040;\">Hygienism was opened to the world by Herbert Shelton and his Natural Hygiene in the 1930s. Shelton rediscovered hygienism and spread the idea that a healthy body contains the ability to heal itself.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"background: white; vertical-align: baseline; margin: 0cm 0cm 22.5pt 36.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #404040;\">In the northern hemisphere there are classic hygienist schools: Spain, Italy, Germany, France and the United States.
